Every Case Reviewed by a Doctor.
LP Clinic does not issue recommendations without direct medical evaluation. This page explains what the evaluation involves and what patients can expect.
The evaluation covers four areas.
Before any treatment recommendation, the specialist reviews your case across the following clinical dimensions.
Hair loss pattern and extent
The specialist evaluates the distribution and progression of hair loss — including the donor area, affected zones, and any active recession. Norwood scale staging is used as a reference framework, not a diagnostic label.
Donor area quality
The density, calibre, and health of donor follicles is a primary factor in determining whether a procedure is likely to produce a satisfactory outcome. This cannot be fully assessed from photos alone — it is confirmed in the in-person consultation.
Medical background and contraindications
Certain medical conditions, medications, or personal health factors may affect suitability for a hair transplant procedure. The specialist reviews these during the assessment to identify any potential contraindications.
Patient expectations and goals
Understanding what the patient is hoping to achieve — and whether those expectations are realistic given their individual profile — is a core part of the evaluation. The clinic provides honest guidance, not optimistic projections.
From first message to clinical review.
- 1
Submit your initial inquiry via WhatsApp
Send a message to LP Clinic via WhatsApp. A clinical intake process begins — the team will ask structured questions to gather the information needed for a preliminary review.
- 2
Submit initial photos (optional)
Photos of the scalp and hairline allow the specialist to make a more informed initial assessment. Photo submission is entirely voluntary. Photos are treated as sensitive health data under GDPR.
- 3
Specialist reviews your case
A medically qualified specialist reviews your inquiry and photos individually. The clinic does not issue automated assessments — every case is reviewed by a human clinician.
- 4
Receive individual guidance
The specialist responds with individual guidance on your suitability, the recommended next steps, and any questions you should consider before proceeding. There is no pressure to book at any stage.
- 5
Video consultation (if suitable)
If the initial assessment suggests you may be a candidate, a video consultation is recommended. This allows a more detailed discussion of your goals, medical history, and the treatment approach before committing to travel.
LP Clinic does not recommend or approve a hair transplant procedure without direct clinical review by a qualified specialist. An initial online inquiry is a starting point — not a clinical outcome.
What the evaluation is not.
The initial evaluation is a structured first step — it has defined limits that patients should understand before submitting an inquiry.
-
The initial WhatsApp assessment is not a medical diagnosis.
-
Photo-based assessment cannot replace in-person clinical examination.
-
An initial positive response does not guarantee treatment eligibility.
-
Results discussed are indicative — outcomes depend on individual factors.
-
The evaluation does not constitute a treatment contract or commitment.
